What is arrangethegame for?

With our years of footballing experience through playing and organising, we realised that most of your time is spent with mind-numbing tasks such as cobbling your team together or negotiating a new pair of size ten's for your primadonna striker.  We thought it would be better if there was a new way to get in touch with your team-mates to allow you to spend more time practising.

How will it help me?

Our team manager system means you can send out emails or (coming soon) SMS to your friends or team squad.  When they reply, you can easily see who is playing and who isn't. We leave the decision making up to you but provide the tools to make the job easier. 

You can discuss last week's game in our forums with your team-mates or just generally whittle the long hours at work away with football trivia. 

Additionally we have a tournament organiser that makes it really easy to get teams signed up to tournaments.  We show league tables, fixtures, results etc in a simple, professional format.  It might just be a kickabout but when you are playing, it seems as important as the World Cup Final.  Hopefully we can add a bit more professionalism to your games to make it feel a bit more special. 

Anything else?

We have lots of ideas, such as adding facilities to find players / teams, referees, coaches, teams to play friendlies against etc.  This is simply the first phase of the website.  Our other ideas will be developed in the coming months.  In the meantime, if there is anything you think would be really useful to you, please let us know and we will see if it can be developed.  We really want this service to work for people that put a lot of time and effort into organising football.  All ideas are welcome, no matter how bizarre!

Okay, sounds good. How much is this going to cost me?

Arrange the Game is completely free to the end-user. There will be a small charge for SMS to cover our costs but you can choose to use email if the club treasurer is getting on your back.

Where are you based?

We are based in Glasgow and as such we have decided to launch here first but anyone is welcome to join and we hope to expand quickly throughout the UK and beyond.

Do I need to be from Glasgow to sign-up?

No. We are looking to grow in the near future. Although our initial efforts will be concentrated on Glasgow, anyone is welcome to join at any time. We hope people all around Britain will use our service. The more people that join, the better the service will be and the easier it will be to organise a pre-season tour with the lads.

Where do the work-leagues take place?

This is entirely up to you. We provide the organising tool and the online tables and you can decide when and where you want to play.

Can I sign-up other members of my team?

Yes. You can invite team members to set up a Player Account and join your team.
